A Widow of No Importance 

Deepa has been a widow for a year. Her only desire is to see her daughter Tara married so that she can die in peace. But when she starts receiving romantic advances from her recently divorced neighbor Vinod, also her son’s best friend, she starts to see the benefits of living.

The Gupta family is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. The family business is on the verge of being wound up by the hands of a huge American corporation. The younger son Anil has just returned from the US, is dating an American girl and threatens to put an end to their joint family structure.

A poisonous legacy threatens the security of the family home. Traditionally, Indian families would have suffered these struggles with quiet resentment. However, in the modern age of globalisation, perhaps Indian families are more willing to adopt Western methods of communication to resolve their differences. Will family therapy, led by Anil's girlfriend put an end to the conflicts within the Gupta family or the Gupta family itself?
